I havent had problems with the app. It does exactly what it says: gives you a code instead of text. I thought it wouldnt be that much more convenient but was worth trying. Ended up being a lot easier than texts, especially because you can just copy/paste codes instead of remembering them and typing them.

I dont know why there is low ratings for this app. I have been using for a few years now on both android and iOS devices and its been working perfectly. No clue what problems other people are facing with this app and why/how.

Changed my IPhone and now this app has become worthless!! Setting up is extremely frustrating and quite difficult all ups that work with 2FA are now screwed and rendered unable to login to - thnx Google!!!!!!! Removing this worthless app!!

This app does exactly what it has set out to do, which is participate in security theater. This futile piece of cruft will serve as your ally for the 5 minutes between when you install it, scan the barcode your bank tells you is necessary for your security, and then delete off your phone.

Please add notification function so I dont have to run the app everytime.

I lost my Ubisoft account because of this google says 2 step verification is disabled but Ubisoft keeps asking for 2 step verification I have no way of getting my codes to login into my Ubisoft account because I cant set up a 2 step verification on my google account because it keeps asking for a phone number I DONT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER SO WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW??? I lost all my games because of you ALL THIS HAPPENED JUST BECAUSE I GOT A NEW PHONE WHY CANY MY ACCOUNT JUST RECOGNIZE THAT I JUST GOT A NEW PHONE WITHOUT HAVING TO USE A STUPID PHONE NUMBER

Lots of problems attempting using this app. I am no newbie to authenticot apps. Unfortunately many apps and websites require - and offer only - Google Authenticator just because of widespread name recognition.

This app never requires authentication to open it. If someone got into my phone they could get into this app very easily to get the authentication codes. There should be settings to add a password to use itouch to secure it with my fingerprint so ONLY myself can get in it. Thanks

I dont know how they managed this, but every time I create a new entry, it appears twice and I have to delete one.

I used it once and I cant access my account any longer! This application is garbage!

Microsoft authenticator outlines google here. I like how Microsoft allows approvals when you hit their authentication spots. Google I guess can do it but you need to install their google app? Really I dont need no "ok google" tool on my phone for an authenticator application to notify me. They need to include that. And yes when you do get a new phone it does require re-setup. Needs to be a lot easier. Again Microsoft does just that .. re-approve your device and then things come into alignment Sad. Google is usually so phenomenal

If you have a bunch of accounts in this app you better hope the addresses displayed are meaningful. There is no ability to edit the description of an account, which would let you easily remember which is which.

Every time I try and put a code in, it says its incorrect, even though I read over the code about 5 times. Am I putting in the wrong e-mail?

Every time I scan a code, it enters it twice. Also gets stuck on a screen where it only shows existing codes, but does not allow editing or deleting. Only way out is to hard-exit the App and restart it.

The App is CRAP! Theres no instructions whatsoever for setting up. Based on other review, Im not going to bother with a setup.

Does not work. Multiple accounts are created system doesnt recognize generated codes when trying to login.

It does what its supposed to do. Syncing between devices is directly against the point of this app lol. I switch main phones regularly (between Android and iOS), and setting up all the MFA accounts is just a part of that. Scanning the barcode makes it as painless as possible though. I like it.

After running updates on computer with iTunes, you still have to manually update all Google crap from each mobile device. This means iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch all have to be done separately. That wastes my time!!

Needs Touch ID, Passcode support and Apple Watch support. Other than that it is a pretty clean app.

Needs Apple Watch and Widget support.
