Google Authenticator App Reviews

Total fail. The Feb 2016 update locked the app. I cant delete the app and reinstall because that will remove all my account info. Hoping for a second update soon.

I experienced the app install bug. I uninstalled, rebooted and whatever to get out of the broken state. When I reinstalled Authenticator, all my codes were still there. Whew! Is this a problem with the app or the iPhone itself? It happened to me with a few apps, but never so scary as with this one!

Works well with a lot of applications.

I dont use many Google Apps as Im not a big Google fan but this 2FA app is brilliant. After learning that Amazon uses this for 2FA, I realized its full potential. Please add folders so we can group IDs.

I use the apps code but it says ,wrong code.But the code sent through the text does work

Touch ID is highly recommended for the Latest iPhone and iPad ! Hope to get this update very soon

The title of this pretty much says it all.

This review is based solely on the multiple times Ive had issues with them updating the app and then you lose all codes you use to access accounts. You then cant reach any support personnel to resolve the situation. They had this same issue in the past and requested not to update to that specific version till they fixed it. Yet they continue to have this issue on every update. Ive had multiple codes generated and still cant get into some accounts due to them resetting the app every time. Even with a phone backup theyre gone. They refuse to fix the issue this time and yet Authy provides better service just not enough support with other sites.

Need to be able to organize into folders. No Apple Watch support so the cool factor is reduced.

What the fu** has just happened? Ive updated the application and all my codes disappeared! I cant even get access to my VISA!!

To all the people on here who say that, it is garbage, its not; its designed to be simple and functional. If it doesnt work for your 2step, then your 2step wasnt designed for this app. Any major business that offers 2step verification WILL tell you what will and will not work. Do your research before writing a negative, snotty, and idiotic review of something you know nothing about.

Are there any plans to provide coverage of home routers including wifi routers?

If you have codes and do an encrypted backup (which backs up *everything else* on the device) and restore, you lose *everything* in this app. Thanks for nothing.

Great app, way better than getting a text message every time I want to log in.
